*Bombshells of 2013*

Figuring out the bombshells of 2013 was easy for me this year. I don't have many ladies on the list, but those who I've listed have left me inspired, empowered and rolling in fits of laughter. Thank you bombshells of 2013 for an amazing year!!!

#1 Sheryl Sandberg - Current "Chief Operating Officer" of Facebook. Sheryl became the COO in August of 2013. Sandberg also previously worked at Google. She is one of Forbes top 10 most powerful women. In March on 2013, she released her book "Lean In" empowering women to take charge of their own career and lead the life they dreamed. #2 Jenna Dewan Tatum - This gal is a major bombshell. She is stunning. An actress, model, professional dancer, wife, mother...you name it, she does it. Everyone thinks bombshells have to be blonde, she is living proof that is soooooo not true. Here she is looking stunning at the 2013 Oscars, did I mention she was 7 months pregnant in this picture? Seriously! She's flawless. She's on this week's cover of US weekly and  November's cover of Self Magazine flaunting her post-baby figure.

#3 Zooey Deschanel - She's brilliant, witty and awkwardly beautiful. Zooey is an actress (plays star role of Jess in "New Girl" best comedy ever), musician, singer (for the band She & Him), spokesperson for multiple ad campaigned (such as Pantene) and songwriter. I am pretty much in love with anyone who has dark hair and blue eyes and Zooey is no exception, along with my niece Maddy :-)

#4 Mindy Kaling - Comedian, writer, producer, actress and author. She stars in the HILARIOUS Fox series, The Mindy Project. There is not a single time I watch her during her show or an interview that I am not crying from laughing so hard.

#5 Gillian Flynn- Former TV critic and writer for Entertainment Weekly, Gillian Flynn has inspired a whole new side of me through her page turning book "Gone Girl." The book was published in June 2012, but you know me...I am not much of a reader. I put the book on my Christmas wish list and got it, woohoo!...now the trouble is putting it down. I am hoping to finish it this weekend. Inspiring me to read and actually enjoy it is quite the task. Well done Gillian. Her book is being turned into a major motion picture to be release October 3rd, 2014 (starring major names like Ben Affleck). I CANNOT wait!!!

#6 Jennifer Lawrence - The Hunger Games superstar hails from the south. To her friends and family she goes by "Jen" but obnoxiously Hollywood has dubbed her "J-Law" (ugh, that makes me cringe...what is so wrong with her real name anyway? Must everything be dumbed down and cuted-up for Hollywood?). Anyway, Jennifer is real in every way. I love her raw responses to the media. It is nice to finally have a girl in Hollywood with actual talent, who is not willing to sell her soul or starve herself just to get the leading role.

#7 Malala Yousafzai - I have saved the best for last this year, Malala Yousafzai. This 16 year old girl is beyond brave. She's a brilliant activist for education (specifically for women in the Middle East) and author of her autobiography released earlier this year "I am Malala" (this book is on my list of ones to read). Her dedication to raising awareness about the need to allow females in the Middle East to become educated, almost ended her life in 2012 when she was shot by the Taliban. She was nominated for the 2013 Nobel Peace Prize.
