New Year's Eve

When I came home from work yesterday, my husband was all dressed up, candles lit and Parisian jazz music playing in the background. It was just what I needed after a 10 hour day at work. Corey surprised me by moving all his patients for New Year's Day to Thursday, so we could spend New Year's together (Best. Surprise. Ever!). So I joined him and put on a little back dress and we cooked dinner and drank champagne. We always make seafood for New Year's Eve. This year we did fresh angel hair pasta with a white wine lemon dill sauce and scallops (from Reel Foods).

I've had this dress for years, I cannot for the life of me remember where I got it, sorry bombshells.
Lipstick: Covergirl Spellbound

I have been trending towards the trendier nail looks lately. Even though I feel this nail trend has come and gone, I couldn't help myself with these colors.
Nailpolish: Maybelline Color Show - Imepccable Greys (gold glitter polish by Nails Inc. - Chelsea Embankment)
Oscar wanted in on the picture taking action...or at least he thought he did :-)
Typical night in the DuPont house. Corey's apron reads: "Caution Extremely Hot" and mine "Domestic Diva"
"I'm Julia Child"...or at least I like to pretend...sometimes.
Too bad the best meal of the year took 364 days to come to fruition. Oh well :-D
Bon Appetit!!!
Getting a little attitude from the dishwashing man.

Wishing all you bombshells a bright and Happy New Year!!!

Be Bold,
Be Brave,
Be Beautiful,
