I was dragging myself to class today, despite the Starbucks I had purchased. It was my last class for the semester and I was feeling rather uninspired fashion-wise, until one of my classmate's showed up in this incredible vintage silk tie skirt.

I instantly perked up as started bombarding her with questions.
Did she make it herself? Where did she get it? How was it put together? Is it one-of-a-kind? I finally shut up long enough for her to tell me. It's a vintage design. LOVE! I couldn't help but run my fingers over the seams, trying to figure out how it was pieced together. Kyla made the brilliant purchase on ebay. I found a similar listing
here, but it's already sold, sigh. I'm not sure if this is the exact one Kyla purchased, but the style is very similar.
In a school full of Victoria's Secret lounge pants and BSU sweatshirts, it is so refreshing to see someone with their own personal style. I adore Kyla's fashion sense. She always has one of a kind accessories (note her magnifying glass owl necklace in the picture above) and unique color combinations, plus she has multiple Oxford shoes I'd like to permanently borrow...maybe we're the same size :-)
I think it's important to remember that a big part of being a bombshell, is being true to your own unique style and Kyla does just that. Remember, be yourself bombshells!!!
