1). BELLY BAND - Purchase a belly band. This will allow you to wear your non-maternity work pants (yes, the ones you currently can't button). I wear a cami when I do this because if I don't put something between the belly band and the unbuttoned pants, the button pushes on my skin and irritates it. Which leads me to #2.
2). MATERNITY BASICS - Purchase maternity basics (camis and solid color t-shirts). Why maternity? They are always much longer than standard tops, so you can tuck them in under your belly band or leave them untucked for a layering look. The t-shirts usually have ruching on the side which is very flattering on your growing belly. Plus, they're stretchy and will grow as your bump continues to grow. If your budget is up for it, splurge on a couple pairs of maternity pants (they are so comfortable)!!!
3). LEGGINGS - Nylons are pretty impossible for me right now, they are just too restricting. When I opt to wear a skirt or dress (see #4), I will wear leggings underneath instead of nylons. This works for the chilly winter months. If it were summer, I would opt for longer maxi dresses or skirts and skip the leggings all together.
4). DRESSES -Wear dresses and skirts (well maybe not pencil skirts haha). During my pregnancy, I have enjoyed wearing dresses to work even more than usual. It's nice to not have anything pushing on your stomach.
5). LAYER - Layering has been crucial for me, especially as my pregnancy progresses. I always start off so cold in the morning, but it's easy to get overheated when you're growing another person. I like to wear an open sweater, blazer or cardigan so I can take it off easily when I warm up. I always wear my top layer unbuttoned. The less restricted I can make myself, the happier I am. Plus I find open sweaters to be more flattered on a growing belly.
Pants & Top: Motherhood Maternity (the patterned pant distracts from the growing belly, plus they were only $25)

Hopefully these tips and tricks keep you encouraged when dressing your growing belly for work. Remember it's a process and you're growing a whole person, be nice to your body.
