The BoiseBombshell: Seattle Weekend Getaway

I absolutely love Seattle. It's by far one of my favorite places for a weekend getaway. The first time I went to Seattle was for our first wedding anniversary. I fell in love with the place. So sophisticated, clean with the perfect blend of local & department stores...did I mention SUNNY? It has never rained in Seattle for me. Of course, we only go in the summer, but I am convinced...it's the sunniest place on Earth!!!

Hiking Puget Sound, yes I hike in pearls. People looked at me crazy for wearing a sweater (and probably for wearing pearls), but when you're coming from 100* in Boise, 75* feels freezing.

One of my favorite places in Seattle? Pike's Public Market!!! So much to see, do, touch, smell. It's quite the sensory experience.

We opted to visit the Seattle Aquarium on Saturday. I left inspired by all the colors and textures. It made me want to run to the fabric store and buy all things resembling these underwater beauties.
