~Going Natural~

I have been transitioning my makeup to be all natural (paraben and chemical free). Although it hasn't been a cheap transition, it was totally worth it. Using toxin-free makeup has really made a difference, even in just a couple weeks. My skin feels amazing!!!

I have never tried the Tarte line before, but I am very pleased with it so far. This primer/bb cream has spf 30 and lasts 12 hours. It's oil-free which is a must for me. It provides full-coverage without feeling heavy. A little goes a long way with this bb cream. I am OBSESSED!!!

One of my friends sells Younique makeup. I took a few of their products for a test run a couple weekends ago. I loved the foundation powder. The color that works for me is called "Fabulous."

The other Younique product I purchased was the 3D fiber lashes. I love the length this "mascara" provides. It's a 3 step process, so it takes a little extra time but I'll sacrifice a few extra minutes for insanely long lashes. 

1) First you start with the gel. It looks just like mascara. It helps to provide a "glue" for the fibers to stick to. 

2) Next, you add the green tea fibers. You just brush them on. It's a little tricky (some make fall onto your cheek or build up on your lashes, but the final step helps eliminate this issue). 

3) Finally, apply another coat of the gel to secure the fibers in place.

TIP: It helps to get a system down before you apply the lashes because you have to go back and forth between the gel and the green tea fibers.

I am in love with this Tarte line. Pretty sure I will be asking for Sephora gift cards for all gift-giving occasions in the foreseeable future. The lipgloss is also all natural. I apply it in the morning before work and then again at lunch and it lasts all day without being too sticky. Love it!!! Plus, it smells amazing.
