My closet is obsessively arranged by item and color. I have a pants section (jeans and slacks separated), a blazer/cardigan section, a blouse/sweater section and a dress/skirt section. Everything is categorically placed and arranged ROY G BIV style (yes, I do realize this is nearing OCD behavior), but it's worth it to me. I can find things easily this way, which makes getting dressed fun instead of frustrating.

Since black and cream don't come into play with ROY G BIV, I start with black, gray and then cream. You may notice I have quite a bit of cream. I don't know what it is about cream colored clothes, but I am drawn to them. Cream blouses, trenches, pencil skirts, they're all so sophisticated. Red is my favorite color in general, but cream is definitely my favorite fashion color.
Although I am no Jackie O, I still like to try my had at sophisticated cream ensembles, adding in a little modern bombshell flare.

The half up ponytail was a more modern take on this look. I wrapped a piece of hair around the rubber band to hide it.
