Jamaican Vacation: Casual Wear

I packed way more clothes than I needed to for Jamaica. Most of the week was spent in my bathing suit. I only got dressed in "real" clothes to eat. Although it was a really really really long plane ride, it was worth it. The weather was amazing. The water was the most insane color. I came home wanting to paint every wall of the house a Caribbean sea blue.

I am going to write a few different posts on Jamaica. Here are some of the casual looks I put together:
Tank Top & Cover Up Pants: Target

Hat: Target

Sandals, Hat & Cover-Up: All from Target

Tank Top: Gap
Shorts: Bohme, Sandals: Target
Don't you just love the $7 wedding ring from Macy's? haha I left my real ring at home to avoid losing it or having it be ruined by sand and sunscreen.
Headband Scarf: It was my grandma's, Bracelet: Nest Boutique

Skirt: DownEast Basics, Sandals: Target
Necklace: H&M, Shirt: Old Navy, Hat: Target
How I spent most of my trip:

Rather disappointed to come home and find out who was put on the new cover of Vogue (ugh!). Needless to say I did NOT buy the new issue. Hate giving this subject anymore publicity, so if you want more info read about it here.
Anyways, it's amazing what you can accomplish in one week at the beach with no work or other commitments. I read 3-4 magazines and 1 book.

Although we had a blast, I am ready to get back to work. Upon returning to the states, I was offered a full-time position.  So excited all this hard work has finally started paying off. I am happy to say all those late night study sessions, tutoring and homework meltdowns were totally worth it.

As they say in Jamaica: "No pressure, no problem." Stay tuned for more Jamaican vacation posts.
