Sara Bareilles Style

On Sunday we went to the Sara Bareilles and One Republic concert at the Idaho Botanical Gardens. Serena Ryder from Toronto opened the concert. She was pretty good, I liked her laid back vocal style. One Republic had some good songs, but Sara Bareilles was definitely the show stopper.

The girl is hilarious, incredibly talented and to top it all off she's GORGEOUS! She played the piano, the symbols and some crazy accordion concoction. Some of my favorite songs were "Brave" (of course), "King of Anything" (another give-in), "Manhattan" (I'd never heard this one before, but I've been singing it for days) and "Yellow Brick Road" (her rendition of Elton John's classic).

She was by far the best live performer I have ever seen. She is genuinely talented. So impressed with this girl. I've spent the past 48 hours trying to figure out how to become the next Sara Bareilles...I should probably start by re-learning how to play the piano...or maybe I'll just move to Manhattan and become her neighbor. :-)

Sara Bareilles (sorry it's a little blurry)
Corey & I (the concert was my reward for going camping Saturday haha) Top: Target by Tracy Reese
Loved her outfit (metallic shorts, navy front tie tank, red belt). I would've done a coral belt, to avoid looking overly patriotic, but seriously Miss Bareilles can do no wrong

Get the Sara Bareilles look below (hopefully the vocal and musical talent will follow):

Delia's Front Tie Tank ~$29.90

The Outnet Metallic Shorts ~140.01 (metallic is worth the splurge to avoid the fabric looking "cheap")

Here's a lyric video of the song "Manhattan." Hope you fall in love with it bombshells.

PS- We get free coffee at work tomorrow and I've ordered my first pumpkin spice latte of the season, SOOO excited for fall!!!
