Unfortunately I've had to trade my love for fashion, blogging, magazines and watching chick flicks in for textbooks (which trust me are no where near as entertaining, plus the pictures are so boring). In my college-haze I've spent the past week telling my self if I study and keep up with my homework, I can take a break for New York Fashion Week.
Apparently I've been looking forward to the wrong Thursday. New York Fashion Week started last Thursday, September 5th, not Thursday as in tomorrow which is what I thought (sigh). All I can say is I hope this studying pays off and thank goodness fashion week occurs every year.
I caught up on some of the shows and runway looks thanks to Mercedes-Benz online video streaming of this weeks shows (see
here). New York Fashion Week covers the Spring 2014 designer collections.
Some of my favorite runway looks:
 |
VeraWang (...convinced this dress is made out of clouds, AMAZING fabric!) |
 |
Zac Posen (he had some really unique draping in his spring collection, all the pieces were amazing) |
 |
Zac Posen (I had to put this one too, I just love the structure, very Marie Antoinette) |
I'm sure I am not the only one who missed out on fashion week. Get a recap of runway videos and photos
here. Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein are on the schedule for tomorrow. Check it out
here. After that fashion week makes an appearance in Paris and Milan.

Be Beautiful,
