One of my favorite things about the new year? AWARD SEASON!!! CBS hosted this year's People's Choice Award.s There were definitely some fashion hits... and of course with the hits come the misses.

Although I felt Taylor Swift's gown this evening may have been a little "too old" for her, there was a "hit" portion of her ensemble: her pale blue statement earrings and eye makeup. Breathtaking. The icey hues were perfect for the winter season.

The BoiseBombshell "Almost Hit List":

I loved both of these dresses, they are stunning, don't get me wrong. The lace detail is incredible! My only issue is I feel the hems should've been a few inches shorter for both ladies. Although I'm sure they were aiming for a more sophisticated look, the hem length is flat out awkward.

I love Brittany Snow, she's gorgeous!. My only thing with this dress? The color is off. It's much too soft, it washes out her beautiful blonde locks and aren't cut-outs so last year :-)

This dress certainly does not scream "I'M A WINNER!" It looks like something a yodeler would wear to a funeral.

Katy Perry- Won Favorite Female Artist & Favorite Pop Artist

Again bombshells, cut-outs are a thing of the past. These cut-outs are all over the place, much too fussy, especially when accompanied by a graphic print. Let's move on to fresher trends.
