Work-Day Wear Wednesday

I usually live it up with color. Bold reds, mustard yellows, hot pink tights...I have it all.

When my husband bought me a pair of opal earrings for my birthday, I was a little nervous they would be too flashy if I paired them with one of my brighter ensembles. The solution? A monochromatic outfit.

I went with black this time and it worked perfectly. Anytime I do a statement piece of jewelry or a bold lip color, I like to tone down the color in my attire.

It's been a hectic few weeks at work, but we've still managed to make time for lunches and holiday charity drives at the office. I'll be posting soon on an *AWESOME* gift I got yesterday from my Secret Santa at work ;-)

I'm heading to Portland this weekend to see family. SoOoOoOoO excited!!! I love how the holidays always brings everyone together. Wish it was like this all year, sigh...
