How to dress for the airport

As previously mentioned, I am fairly particular about my airplane attire. 

Today I was headed back to Boise after a quick trip to San Diego over the weekend (thank you Alaska Airlines for *finally* offering direct flights!). 

Knowing it was only going to be 60-something degrees in Boise when I landed, I dressed in layers...a lot of layers (a tank top, t-shirt, jean jacket and cotton scarf).

Glasses: Kate Spade (not just for show, I actually do need them to see long distances...especially at night)

Earrings: Pinky Jewelry on 23rd Ave in Portland (my favorite street in the world...so far), Headband: Urban Outfitters

Jacket: DownEast Basics

 

 

 

I usually insist on socks for all airport trips...walking barefoot through security freaks me out. Today, I made an exception because it was so toasty in San Diego this afternoon when I left.

T-Shirt: Old Navy, Cuff: Forever 21 (on my left wrist)

Sandals: Target, Leggings: hand-me-down

Home sweet home with the Oscar dog. Missed him so much!!!

Scarf: The Loft

Leaving sunny San Diego was tough, but I was slightly thrilled to come home and find Boise had cooled down a little over the weekend. 

It's finally starting to feel like fall bombshells!!!
