Here is the challenge from Kendra:
You tend to have a better time regardless of what you are doing if you feel great in the fashions
you’re wearing. Soon, I’ll be enjoying a trip to Miami with my husband, and I want to have the
best possible time. I love the new fashions that you find and post on your blog, and I’d love to
learn what recommendations you might have for a new look that I can sport on this romantic
getaway. While planning my Miami trip, I used the neatest travel website gogobot. The reviews
of hotels and resorts in South Beach helped me select the ideal hotel 'Biltmore Estate Miami Hotel' for us to enjoy. I’m excited about the various activities we have planned based on reviews from those who have been to the area recently. One of the activities I’m most eager to enjoy during my Miami vacation is cooking classes. Of course, we’ll enjoy plenty of other local activities in Miami as well. I know I’ll enjoy the spa, have fun relaxing by the pool and savor some of those world-famous culinary delights. My husband will certainly enjoy his time at the Donald Ross golf course. I will need two looks, one for day and the other for night! I know your fashion recommendations will help to make our trip more than I can even dream of. Besides, I need to look timeless as well as smashing in all
those photos that we plan to take!
Yes I know, I was a little jealous of her vacation too, but also very excited for this opportunity. Although I've never been to Miami, the city has a well-known bold sense of style. Graphic prints, neon colors, geometric designs...Miami wears it all.
For the past week, while sitting at work running reports on spot pricing and stock tracking for the technology industry, I found myself daydreaming about the fashion challenge. Last night I couldn't sleep, so I got up and made a few edits to my looks. Although tired, I am excited to share my final ensembles for the challenge with you all.
Here are my final looks:
Look 1: Daytime in Miami
About this look:
Daytime in Miami. A combination of bold prints, textures and intriguing pieces. A flat sandal is ideal for walking around and seeing the sites. A perfect beach look without appearing too much like a tourist.
Look 2: Dinner in Miami
About this look:
Dinner in Miami: A play on bold colors, high contrast and geometric shapes. Tone down the bright hues by pairing the ensemble with nude ail polish and lipstick or gloss. Keep your hair simple and polished with a low side structured bun. If the yellow top is too bright for your taste, swap it out for a black structured top and change the heels to a metallic blue.
