The original plan was to do Zumba and then blog about last week's Easter attire, but plans change and now I am blogging like this:

On the positive side, I am loving this mineral power from Younique (color: fabulous) |
WHY??? Because I managed to do this within the first 3 minutes of my workout:
I can usually correct myself fast enough if I feel like I'm about to lose balance and roll my ankle, but there was no helping me this time. It has been quite a Monday for me. Anyway, back to the Easter recap...
Let's start from the beginning of the story regarding my 2014 Easter dress. Originally, I bought this dress for my cousin's wedding reception in Memphis, TN...11 years ago!!!
Needless to say I have not changed much in the past decade. My hair is better, I maybe a few more curves and I'm much more pale apparently...other than that I'm just the same old me.
Flats: by Vogue via Zappos |
Obviously I have no idea where I got this dress. We lived in Knoxville, TN at the time it was purchased. I can promise you it did not cost a lot...likely a department store find. |
I am living proof you don't have to be shopping 24/7 to have a lot of clothes. When you keep things for a decade or more, trust me, you will have a lot of clothes.
*Disclaimer: I am not saying keep EVERYTHING, but keep the good things, the classics. Since I only wear this dress on special occasions, it looks brand new, which is why I hang onto it.
