Casual Fall Looks

Layering pieces is one of the many reasons I love fall. Without purchasing anything new, I've managed to put together two "never-before-worn-at-the-same-time" looks.

Scarf: Gift, Jacket & Top: Target

Jeans: Banana Republic, Boots: JcPenney???

 Oscar is occasionally always less than amused with my all my outfit photo bombing. I should probably get a girl dog to balance out Oscar's hatred for fashion.

I cut my head out of the neck two pictures because my face looked ridiculous, trust me I did you all a favor :-) Sometimes I use my favorite summer pieces, like this sheer and lace vest, as the top layer for my fall looks.

Vest: Bohme, Top: Kohl's (it's at least 5 years old haha, no seriously)

I love Ether Shoes. It's where I purchased my boots (above) back in 2011. My best friend Emma bought the same pair in dark brown, we refer to them as our pirate boots. The Ether Shoe Warehouse on 23rd Avenue in Portland, OR is one of the things I miss about living there (along with the easy access to bubble tea).  I stay up to date on their inventory via their Facebook page here. Big plans to go shopping this weekend, using some of my early birthday presents (cash and gift cards) to fund my purchases. Thanks DuPont family for helping fund my weekend shopping spree!!!
