4th of July Fashion (10 days later...)

Let's take a moment to celebrate summer school being officially over...WOOOOHOOOOO!!!! Now I have five weeks to blog, watch chick flicks and catch up on the latest fashion magazines (and work of course).

I know I'm a little behind on sharing my fashion tips and tricks with all of you. Lets go back a little ways to 4th of July fashion.

Red toes, of course, I added silver sparkle stars to look like fireworks
I created a firework finger on each hand
After watching a special on E! News about 4th of July tips and trends, I was inspired to try this new nail technique.

1. Paint nails with base coat
2. Paint 2 coats of solid white nail polish
3. Wait until nails are fully dry
4. Find three pieces of crinkled up plastic wrapper (I used a plastic wrapper from one of those command strip hooks haha)
5. Take one piece of plastic and crinkle it up (see picture below)
6. Paint edges of plastic wrapper and dab on nails
7. Repeat steps 5 & 6 using a different wrapper and paint edges in a different polish color
8. Finish with a top coat

Pants: Banana Republic, Top: Bella Blue Boutique, Necklace: it was a gift :-)
Hope all you bombshells enjoyed your 4th of July!!! I'm excited to be back in the blog-o-sphere and free from the burdens of late night study sessions and 17 page research papers...at least for a few weeks...

Be Bold,
Be Brave,
Be Beautiful,
