Southern Style

I recently returned from a vacation in Memphis, TN. Along with amazing food and good company, came some fabulous shopping. I like to shop local when possible, so we visited a lot of boutiques on our trip. In the midst of our shopping adventure, my aunt and I came across this little gem, The Paisley Rooster.

The store was full of bright colors and bold prints (of course some of it paisley). I ended up buying this beautiful bell sleeve floral blouse. It definitely outshines our lone tree in the backyard :-)
Blouse: The Paisley Rooster
I confess I am guilty of buying cheap jeans. After many disappointing purchases, I decided to splurge for brand name and bought my first pair of Paige denim. Oh my goodness!!! What a difference! Seriously, I wore them all day and not the tiniest hint of a saggy-bottom scenario. Trust me bombshells, it is worth the splurge.

Jeans: Paige denim (purchased at Nordstrom Rack)

"Love" Bangle: The Nest Boutique (purchased online)
Sunglasses: The Loft, Faux Leather Jacket: Target
Earrings: Old Navy (so impressed with their accessories lately)

Lace Flats: Nordstrom Rack (they may or may not be covered in rhinestones...hehe)

In the same shopping center as The Paisley Rooster, I found even more fabulous stores:

The Pink Nest (great for gifts, clothes, jewelry)
Bella Vita (best home decor store)
Itty Bitty Bella (cutest baby store ever)!!!

If there's one thing you can be certain about the south, it's great style!!!

Stay tuned for more pictures from my Memphis trip.

Be Bold,
Be Brave,
Be Beautiful,

    1. I obsessed with the bell-sleeve detail on this blouse! A huge thanks to ya'll for picking such great merchandise to stock the store. I'm glad I got to bring a little bit of Paisley Rooster with me back to Idaho. Now I can be southern too ;-)
