Work-Day Wear (x2)

New outfit pictures, as promised. Everyone seems to enjoy these, so I'm going to try and keep up with posting a few different looks every week. Keyword: TRY. :-)

Necklace: Trio of Trinkets - Downeast Basics - $9.99* (I got it on sale for under $7).

Top: On sale for $5 at Downeast Basics in the Boise Towne Square Mall.

Army Green Cami: Old Navy, less than $10

Skirt: An EPIC! Target purchase a few years ago, not even a splurge, it was $4 haha. I wear this thing once a week usually. How can I resist?!? It's ivory lace, both BoiseBombshell favorites!!!

Boots: I want to say they were around $15 at a store on 23rd Ave in Portland, one of Portland's only perks was 23rd avenue and the fact you could get vegetarian options at every restaurant, unlike Idaho.

Purse: Pink in Boise! It was a splurge, around $85 I think, but I love it and it goes with everything, plus it is covered in rhinestones and it's big enough to hold my college books.

Jacket: Another Target purchase, from their Xhilaration line a couple years ago. It's wired on the bottom and sleeves, giving it more shape. I want to say it was under $35ish. It's a perfect layering piece. I've started wearing it a lot, since it's now 45 degrees in Boise during the morning and then gets up to 90 come afternoon. I almost busted out my wool coat, I was so cold this morning, but I resisted.

I started my new job today!!! The following outfit is what I wore to my first day of work. Sorry I cropped it so much, but I was sweating and it looked bad, so I edited that out because bombshells don't sweat, we glisten ;-)

Necklace: My grandmothers.

Top: JcPenny purchase for aroudn $20, I love the color, the picture does not do it justice. The green is much darker in real life. It ties in the front, which I love (Katelyn, this is what I was referring to when I said front bow-tie blouse).

Skirt: Black & White polkadots from Bana Republic, free because it was a hand-me-down from my older sister

Shoes: Target! Xhilaration again :-)

Confession, I have hated my blonde hair for a week, but after using Paul Mitchell's "Platinum Blonde Shampoo" from the color care line, it looks much better and I love it. I am OBSESSED with this shampoo, mostly because it's like a bizarre purple chrome looking color. Heck yes! My hair definitely needs more shape and some brighter pieces to add dimension. Think I'll be doing another A-Line cute, Mattie does the best A-Lines! Looks like I will be seeing my hair-master Mattie Washburn @ The Electric Chair sometime soon.

Not all Bombshells have to be blonde, but I do love going blonde from time to time. Blonde of brunette? What do you prefer?
